Ocean City named one of the 'Best Family Beach Vacations': TripAdvisor

Vacationers rejoice: Ocean City is one of the "best family beach vacations," according to TripAdvisor. 

The travel review website gathered together 25 beach locations to make its "25 best family beach vacations to take with kids in the U.S.A." list posted on Feb. 7. 

Ocean City is listed second from the top, underneath Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Other beach locations on the list include Wildwood, New Jersey, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Virginia Beach, Virginia. 

"Ocean City is an ideal spot for a family beach vacation," TripAdvisor's site reads. "Famous for its salt water taffy, 3-mile boardwalk, and seemingly endless opportunities for kid-friendly fun, Ocean City Beach is undoubtedly one of the best beaches to spend your time with the kids. The large, local beach and action-packed Jolly Roger Amusement Park give you and your family plenty to enjoy."
