Did you see Cal Ripken Jr. in Salisbury on Saturday?

STAFF REPORT
Major League Hall of Famer and former lifetime Baltimore Oriole Cal Ripken Jr. speaks to Pocomoke High students on Wednesday afternoon at Pocomoke High School as part of the #WeWantCal campaign.

Orioles legend and Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. was spotted at Saturday's Delmarva Shorebirds game.

Ripken's son, Ryan is a player for the Hagerstown Suns. The Suns spoiled the Shorebirds home opener on Thursday and are looking for a four-game sweep on Sunday.

Cal was spotted in the stands of Arthur W. Perdue Stadium as a spectator on Saturday, and Twitter took notice:

Ripken has come to the Eastern Shore before, including a surprise visit to Pocomoke High School in 2015 after a student social media campaign and a trip to the Salisbury YMCA in 2014.
