Milton celebrates after defeating Newark National in the Delaware Little League Baseball Championship game in Milford.

These kids know how to win.

Milton's 11- and 12-year-old Little League team is one of only a few in Delaware to ever earn three straight state titles.

“It’s not just the kids. It’s the [parents]. It’s the community that makes up the town of Milton,” manager Paris Mitchell told the News Journal's Kevin Tresolini. “There’s a lot of pride in the Little League there.”

Now the team from Sussex County is headed to Bristol, Connecticut, for the Mid-Atlantic regionals from Aug. 5 to 11. We're featuring the players who will represent Delaware in this special baseball card gallery:

Their competitors are Maryland (another Delmarva team from Berlin), New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Washington, D.C.

Watch: First game Sunday, Aug. 5 against Maryland at 4 p.m. on the ESPN + subscription service
