Rob McElhenney stuck at Emmys, but he's still watching the Eagles-Buccaneers playoff game

Sometimes an event just gets in the way of you enjoying the Philadelphia Eagles.

For Philadelphia native and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor Rob McElhenney, he decided not to choose between the Eagles and attending the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. He did both.

McElhenney posted a photo of him and his wife and "It's Always Sunny" co-star Kaitlin Olson on X, formerly known as Twitter, at the award show while watching the Eagles on McElhenney's phone.

"Who schedules the Emmys the same night as the @eagles #gobirds #FlyEaglesFly," McElhenney wrote.

By the end of the game, he may have wished he just watched the Emmys as the Eagles lost 32-9.
